
The impact of Newport World Resorts’ CSR initiatives

Newport World Resorts showed that love makes the world go round. Throughout 2024, the country’s multifaceted integrated resort created ripples of kindness, from the expansive property to the broader community, through various corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs implemented in the past year. Here is a look back at the epic year filled with heartfelt moments and impactful contributions, each one driven by LOVE–the company’s League of Volunteer Employees.
LOVE Kitchen
Love was dished out generously through the LOVE Community Kitchen sharing almost 1,000 meals to underserved communities across Manila. The feeding program was cooked up by the integrated resort’s award-winning culinary team and partner organizations. With fun and educational sessions, including nutrition talks and sustainability tips, LOVE Kitchen served a healthier, more sustainable future for residents of its partner communities.
Bleed for LOVE
In every drop of donated blood lies a story of hope. Through quarterly Bleed for LOVE donation drives, Newport World Resorts’ volunteers made saving lives their greatest gift of all. The year-long initiative, conducted in partnership with Dugong Alay Dugtong Buhay, the Philippine Blood Center, and the Pasay City Health Office, successfully united hundreds of employees for a shared mission of donating over 1,000 blood bags that hold the power of saving almost 4,000 lives.
LOVE Grants
Hundreds of families experienced the warmth and generosity of LOVE Grants in 2024. Under this initiative, employees hosted fun events such as carnival-themed parties for kids of Child Haus Manila and Quezon City, as well as chocolate gifts for Maricaban Elementary School students. Volunteers also held art workshops and safety training for children under the care of Bahay Aruga Foundation. The year wrapped up in a heartwarming collaboration with the Philippine Air Force, gifting children from Child Haus Manila and Missionaries of the Poor with comforters, rice, and essential goods.
LOVE Tanim
Newport World Resorts also made sure to give back to the planet. In collaboration with the Briquettor Association of the Philippines and the Dumagat Tribe, employees planted 2,000 cacao seedlings in Norzagaray, Bulacan to grow the seeds of environmental sustainability and greener future for the next generations.
Now We Ride
For the holiday season, Newport World Resorts took the spirit of giving to the streets by rolling out its inaugural Now We Ride initiative on December 8, 2024. Over 100 riders from different motorcycle clubs across Manila went the extra mile to deliver gifts and essential medical support to children under the care of Bahay Aruga Foundation.
